Red Dog, Brandy & Nikita - Michele Livingston Story

HOW I CAME TO BE WITH MY DOGGY-PARENTS
(A TRUE STORY - AS TOLD BY RED DOG)

I am Red Dog, you can tell by the smile on my face that I have a very happy life now. My life was not always so happy. I was rescued by my Doggy-Parents years ago.

Shelby, my doggy-mommy, had a "Spiritual Reading" about 14 years ago, by the now quite famous Michele Livingston when she was in Camp Hill, PA . Because the reading made such an impresison on Shelby she remembers it as clear as if it were yesterday.

Michele asked Shelby, if she knew what her "Animal Spirit Guide" was, and Shelby said, "What are you seeing that my "Animal Spirit Guide" is?" And Michele said, "Have you ever owned a red dog?" Shelby's response was that "she grew up with a golden retriever". And Michele said, "No that is definitely not the type of dog's head that I am seeing," Michele said that "if you haven't met your animal spirit guide yet, you will."

Well years went by...but Shelby never forgot this (afterall this is certainly not your everyday "Animal Spirit Guide" one would think of).

One day, a man came up to Ralph and said that he was getting a divorce and that he knew that we had two dogs and how we loved and took care of our dogs and wanted us to come take a look at some puppies and his one stud dog because he had to remove them from the property immediately, and it was important to him to find a good home for "especially" his one dog.

So Ralph and Shelby went to look. They had no intensions when they came to the house that they would be leaving with me, but it was destiny.

When, Kevin (my owner at the time) opened the door, out I came, I was on a second floor porch looking down at Ralph and Shelby - I am a very large dog and I am sure not what they expected.

Ralph said to Shelby, "don't move, don't kneel down, that dog has got an enormous head, and he doesn' know us." Well, I have to admit, I do look intimidating.

Out of manors, I went to Ralph first, then I went to Shelby - I jumped up on her shoulders, (she is petite and I am a large dog), and looked her square in the eyes - then Kevin yelled, "RED DOG GET DOWN", prior to that, Ralph and Shelby didn't know my name. Shelby remembered instantly the reading that she had, Michele Livingston got the details right, right down to my name. Kevin and Ralph started talking and Ralph was starting to say "We'll think about it", and Shelby said, without a second thought or hesitation, "WE'LL TAKE HIM!", well by now I had already jumped in the front seat of their truck, and had no intensions of getting out.

So they took me home with them. From that day forward, I have never left my Mommy's side, I am with her every moment when she is home, and I will always be with her.
